The woman wears the same costume as my bisque doll. The cap ornament depends on the woman social position.
I purchased these 2 in Oslo in 1994 or 1995, in a shop specialized in folk costumes.
This is the information I found on EBay, for a very similar doll: made by Atelier Karl Steenfeldt-Foss Norway. According to an eBay correspondent from Norway this is a doll made by a woman who purchased Ronnaug Petterssen's material after Petterssen died in the early 1980's. She used a plastic doll and the material and designs she purchased. The maker is now quite elderly.
