Inuit Doll purchased in Toronto in 1998.
Mother's and child's heads are made of soap stone (steatite). The mother is dressed in modern style: fur and 'polaire' for the parka, leather for shoes and gloves, waterproofed trousers.
Artist : Lizzie Sivuarapik, eskimo from Povungnituk, as certified by the Fédération des Coopératives du Nouveau-Québec.
