Lavender peddlers santons usually only carry a bouquet of lavender, together with their sickle.
Here, the sickle exists, but the bouquet is completed with full side-'pockets' of lavender.
Together with the quality of the clay parts (head and hands), the originality of the subject treatment makes it a very attractive santon.
